Local files

Files chosen through the picker or drag-and-drop are read by browser code and a dedicated worker. The application has no file-upload endpoint and does not send file contents or filenames to its server.

Desktop edition updates

The desktop interest page prepares an email draft in your browser. Preparing the draft does not send or register the answers with CSV Dock. If you send it through your email app, support@csvdock.com receives the sender address and message.

We use those details for updates about this desktop edition and questions about your needs. Do not send business files or confidential information. To stop updates or request deletion, contact support@csvdock.com from the address used to register. Closing your browser does not delete an email already received.

URL imports

When you enter a public URL, your browser requests that address directly without credentials. The destination server receives the usual network information, including your IP address and browser headers. CSV Dock does not proxy that request.

Analytics and errors

If privacy-preserving analytics are enabled after deployment, events may include the tool name, coarse file-size range, duration range and success or failure category. Events must not contain filenames, URLs, headers, cell values or source rows. Error logs follow the same rule.

Advertising and cookies

CSV Dock currently contains no advertising integration. Before advertising or non-essential cookies are enabled, this policy and the consent flow must be updated for the deployed jurisdictions and vendors.

Hosting and third-party resources

Cloudflare delivers the website and may process ordinary request information such as an IP address, user agent, requested path and security signals. A directory badge or other external image can cause the browser to request that resource from its provider, which receives normal HTTP request metadata. Following an external link moves the visit to that provider's site and privacy policy.

Your choices

You can use local file tools without creating an account. Avoid the public-URL option if you do not want the remote host to receive a request from your browser, and do not send sensitive source data when asking for support. Clearing the page or closing the tab removes the active workbench session from the page.

Data retention and contact

Workbench state disappears when the page is refreshed or closed. Privacy and support questions can be sent tosupport@csvdock.com. Do not include file contents or other sensitive data in an email.
